Green Desk offers workstations near you
The pandemic has permanently changed the way we work. The standard 9-to-5 days spent working at the office now seem to be a distant memory. But working from home doesn't suit everyone. It's not great if you don't have a good workspace or you get distracted by your housemates. The solution? An external workstation near your home, which is easily accessible by public transport. Green Desk is an ABN AMRO initiative, which offers a solution for employees working for large companies.
Green Desk is a platform for employees working for large companies. They can use an app to select an external workstation (co-working space) or a shared workstation at an existing office (shared corporate office). This is a unique initiative, as there is no other platform that combines these two types of workspaces.
Locations in large cities
All of the workspaces offered meet corporate standards, since Green Desk provides information about the sustainability, compliance with health and safety requirements and security of the workstations. Green Desk already has locations in Amsterdam, The Hague, Haarlem, Leiden, Rotterdam and Utrecht. All locations are easily accessible by public transport. Locations outside of the Randstad will be available soon.
Floris ten Duis, Innovation Manager at ABN AMRO and initiator of Green Desk, believes that this sustainable, efficient initiative enriches hybrid working. 'For both employees and companies. Green Desk also provides the opportunity for professionals from different disciplines and backgrounds to make new contacts. This cross-pollination is an interesting prospect for our participants.'
Green Desk is currently running a pilot involving three large companies, including PwC. For more information, watch the video and get in touch with .
