Jaap is part of the Financial Market Research Team. He is primary responsible for covering the European government bond markets with a special focus on the Dutch market and the pension fund sector.

Before he joined ABN AMRO Bank, he was member of the Management Team of the Dutch State Treasury Agency and worked for the European and Dutch Central Bank as a senior portfolio manager.

Jaap studied economics at the University of Amsterdam and is a chartered financial analyst.
